Description

The OZ9800 is an EIA 310-D Standard 19 inch 1U rack mounted unit that can accommodate multiple high performance, broadband, fiber optic transceivers with low Noise Figure (NF) designed for various RF over Fiber applications. You may populate the OZ9800 with up to 5 units of OZ600 or OZ810 series transceivers, where each transceiver is capable of carrying an individual RF signal over single mode fiber optic cable (optional multimode functionality is also available). In additional to the RFoF transceiver modules, it may hold an 8-Channel CWDM Mu/ Dmux for single fiber operation, or multiple WDM Mux's or Dmux's for custom configurations with optional loop-through Gigabit Ethernet Digital Data stream.

The OZ9800 as an Interfacility Link (IFL) offers high Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) with operational frequencies from 30 MHz to 6.0 GHz, or more. Optional extended bandwidth of 10 MHz to 6.0 GHz is also available.

The OZ9800 chassis is powered by AC 110 V to 240 V using built-in universal dual power supplies or +12 V DC. An optional RS 232 data modem, alarm and monitoring functions are all also available for each transceiver via DB-9. Front panel indicators provide visual indication of the power supplies operation and the cumulative link status. Individual unit status may be monitored via connectors available at the back panel. Alarm conditions are indicated via relay contact ("dry contacts").
