Spirent PNT today announced availability of SimORBIT

Spirent PNT today announced availability of SimORBIT, the first high-accuracy orbital modelling software solution specifically developed for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite simulation. It was created in partnership with spaceborne receiver developer SpacePNT, and enables developers to calculate LEO orbits and their distinctive characteristics more precisely and realistically for GNSS/PNT testing.

This is an industry-first for Spirent. Other solutions offered in the market for low earth orbit simulation are based on data from higher orbit satellites, while SimORBIT provides actual LEO orbit data to provide more realistic simulations.
